Suomi Building
The protected building was completed in 1911 by Onni Tarjante and Armas Lindgren as the head office for a life insurance company (Henkivakuutusyhtiö Suomi). In 1938 Architects Hytönen and Luukkonen renovated part of the building and covered the yard in connection with the construction of Kalevankatu 6.
We renovated the single-user building for the use of several different tenants. New elevators and a new entrance to the basement and the 1st floor, as well as a lift and staircase connection from Yrjönkatu, were built for the main entrance. The office floors were renovated to meet modern requirements, and the building services were almost completely renovated.
