Developed by Keskinäinen Työeläkevakuutusyhtiö Elo for its long-term investment portfolio, the project represents a strategic approach to premium rental housing. Design solutions prioritize durability, low lifecycle costs, ease of maintenance, timeless aesthetics, and sustainable development principles—ensuring that the building remains both relevant and resilient for decades to come.
In line with the zoning plan, the façades are predominantly white, crafted from durable, high-quality stone-based materials. The sandwich-element façades feature concealed joints at building ends, enhanced by patterns inspired by Kalevala and Iron Age ornamentation, based on Finnish archaeological heritage. These patterns, designed in collaboration with artist Topi Äikäs, are executed in shallow, diagonally intersecting reliefs combined with a false-joint mesh, delivering a high-quality, low-maintenance finish that will endure for generations.
