Restaurant Paseo, Cafe and Sauna

We first designed a cafe and a few years later a sauna building to fit a natural shoreline area. We carefully integrated the buildings into the existing rocks and stones, while protecting them and the surrounding nature. The cafe, situated along popular walking paths, is a popular resting spot for outdoor enthusiasts and local residents. The large glass windows in both buildings show stunning views of the sea.

Built almost entirely from wood, the café and sauna embrace natural materials and a warm atmosphere. The café is clad inside and out with beautiful larch, while the sauna’s interiors and benches are crafted from aromatic western red cedar. A spacious open terrace links the two buildings, centered around a welcoming fireplace that invites guests to gather and relax.
